Founder, Executive DirectorJerriah Williams is the Founder and Executive Director of Snuggle House Foundation, a maternal health organization dedicated to advancing culturally responsive, community-based care for Black birthing people. A trained birthworker and wellness advocate, Jerriah brings a multidisciplinary approach to leadership—drawing from public health, holistic care, and grassroots organizing.
She formally began her work in the maternal health and nonprofit space in 2021, led by a deep personal commitment to addressing the inequities that disproportionately impact Black and Brown families. With vision and determination, she established Snuggle House Foundation to fill a critical gap—offering care that honors the dignity, safety, and cultural experiences of families in her community.
Under her direction, Snuggle House has developed a profound doula program and expanded its offerings to include mental health services, clinic-based midwifery care, and perinatal education. Jerriah’s leadership is marked by strategic clarity and operational excellence, balanced by an unwavering dedication to community voice and healing.

Receptionist
Meet Paulette Mosely — our vibrant and compassionate Receptionist and Community Health Worker at Snuggle House Foundation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Saint Cloud State University, with an emphasis in Relational Conflict Management. Paulette is the first face you’ll see and the voice that warmly greets our clients, creating a safe and welcoming space from the very first interaction.
Her professional background is as diverse as its people, in which her focus centers around interpersonal relationships. After spending years in the corporate world of sales, Paulette brings with her a strong foundation in customer service, shaped by experiences in waitressing, hotel hospitality, insurance and marketing. No matter the setting, her passion for human connection and relational care has always shined through.
Paulette joined Snuggle House in a season of self-reflection and spiritual alignment. She recognized that the communities who look like her — who are too often underserved in healthcare — deserved more empathy, more representation, and more heart. In answering that call, she stepped into her purpose with clarity and courage.
Today, Paulette is more than a receptionist — she’s a bridge between intention and impact, helping build a world where care feels like coming home.

Nutrition & Epidemeology Program Lead
Tricia has a background in nutrition and is a licensed dietitian. Her interests have always been centered around Black women and children with her research focusing on Black women’s body image and eating behaviors.
In summer of 2020, seeing the photo of Thema - a young, Black pregnant woman - at one of the D.C. marches for George Floyd and other Black lives gave her the push she needed to pursue her passion for birth work. It is important for her to engage with community in her work, and she was struggling to do so within the structure of higher education - which is steeped in racism, colorism, classism, and other forms of oppression. She has served 30 families on their birth journey so far and is eager to support her community in reclaiming their birth experiences.
